Charlevoix is Lined with Petunias!
Beginning in 2019, the petunia project changed from the flowers planted along the road 450+ baskets hanging along the road. A redesigned highway eliminated a lane near the planting area were volunteers could safely plant as well as water throughout the season. The special watering truck, a highlight in parades, was sold. nd is ready for the city's handcrafted 16' steel flower hole punch roller.
Operation Petunia is unique to Charlevoix. Residents and visitors love the look of the petunias. And, of course, the petunia's perfume indeed makes Charlevoix special!
